Since 2021 registra ons of both show and working clumbers have dropped
consistently. In 2023 only 223 puppies were registered compared to their
peak registra ons a er COVID 19 of 285. The rolling 5-year average currently
sits at 220, so is just above expected for the breed though ideally numbers
need to increase Through responsible breeding of health tested parents.
