All dogs tested affected for IVDD type1 (increased risk for intervertebral disc disease slipped discs) which was expected as you cannot have the body shape of the Clumber
spaniel without this gene being present as it gives the longer back and slightly shorter leg
similar is seen in all spaniel types.
