It is preferable to breed only from dogs graded as 0 or 1. Dogs graded as 2 (moderately
affected) have a greater risk of developing and passing on the condi on to offspring which
can lead to glaucoma, pain and blindness and any breeding decisions must take other
factors into account, such as significant concerns rela ng to maintenance of gene c
diversity and the prevalence of the condi on in the breed.
Of the 4 dogs in 2022:
3 dogs showed Grade 0
1 dog showed Grade 1
The 3 dogs that had gonioscopy in 2023:
1 dog showed Grade. 0
2 dogs showed Grade 1
