Herpes vaccina on for breeding bitches.
First injec on is normally given either during heat or 7 to 10 days a er the
presumed date of ma ng.
Second injec on is given 1 to 2 weeks before the expected date of
whelping.
Revaccina on is given during each pregnancy, according to the same
schedule.

Monitoring puppy loss by filling out the CSC breeding/li er survey that runs
through the year when a li er is produced to help monitor causes of
problems during breeding, whelping and the first 8 weeks of life.

Any dogs with congenital abnormali es such as over or undershot jaws,
retained tes cles or cle lips should not be used for breeding as there is a
strong gene c link between these problems and passage to offspring.
